The government is observing mourning day today (30 July) in memory of those who were killed during the quota reform movement violence.

The decision was made during a cabinet meeting yesterday (29 July), said Cabinet Secretary Md. Mahbub Hossain.

On Sunday (28 July), Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal reported that 147 people have been killed so far in clashes related to the quota reform movement across the country.
