Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus has left Qatar for the Vatican to attend the funeral of Pope Francis.
According to a statement issued by the CA’s Press Wing, he departed on the morning of Friday (25 April). He is expected to arrive in Rome at 2:15pm local time.
Upon arrival, he will be received by the Ambassador of Bangladesh to Italy and the Ambassador of Bangladesh to the Holy See.
Earlier, on Monday, Dr Yunus had travelled to Qatar on a four-day official visit to attend the Arthana Summit 2025.
