Inspector General of Police (IGP) Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun has visited the Saydabad bus terminal in Dhaka to inspect the traffic management and safety measures implemented to ensure a smooth journey for homebound passengers during Eid celebrations.
The police head arrived at the terminal at 3:30 pm on Sunday (7 April), and was scheduled to visit the Sadarghat Launch Terminal and Kamalapur Railway Station thereafter.
During his visit, the IGP conversed with homebound passengers, inquiring about any issues they might be facing during their journey, including concerns about bus fare hikes.
DMP Commissioner Habibur Rahman, Additional Police Commissioner AKM Hafiz Akhtar, Additional Police Commissioner (Traffic) Munibur Rahman, and DMP Joint Commissioner (Operations) Biplab Kumar Sarkar were present with the IGP during the visit.
