The Election Tribunal has declared BNP candidate Ishraq Hossain as the rightful winner of the Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) election, held on 1 February 2020.
The ruling was delivered on Thursday (27 March) by Dhaka’s First Joint District Judge Md Nurul Islam, who presided over the tribunal.
This decision overturns the previously declared result, marking a significant legal victory for the BNP-backed candidate.
