The Supreme Court has upheld the High Court’s verdict acquitting BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia in the Zia Charitable Trust corruption case, maintaining the decision to clear her of the seven-year prison sentence.

 

The Appeals Division, led by Justice Md Ashfaqul Islam, delivered the ruling on Monday morning, bringing an end to the legal proceedings surrounding the case.
