As part of the ongoing Operation Devil Hunt, a total of 743 individuals were arrested across the country in the 24 hours leading up to Thursday afternoon, according to the police headquarters.
In addition, 914 more people were apprehended in connection with various warrants and ongoing cases during simultaneous operations conducted by local law enforcement.
During these drives, joint forces recovered one cartridge, a shutter gun, and two sharp weapons.
Launched on 9 February, Operation Devil Hunt aims to tackle unrest and strengthen public safety nationwide.
