Dhaka experienced light rainfall on Tuesday evening, with the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecasting intermittent showers and thunderstorms across multiple regions of the country until Friday.
According to BMD's latest update, sporadic rainfall or thundershowers may occur in parts of Dhaka, Rangpur, Mymensingh, Khulna, and Sylhet divisions, as well as in Cumilla and Noakhali districts.
Elsewhere, the weather is expected to remain predominantly dry, with partly cloudy skies.
Additionally, light to moderate fog may form across the country from late night until early morning.
Nighttime temperatures are likely to rise slightly, while daytime temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged.
For the 24-hour period beginning Wednesday evening, isolated showers or thunderstorms may occur in parts of Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, and Rajshahi divisions.
Similarly, between Thursday evening and Friday evening, sporadic rainfall is forecasted in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions.
