Five people were killed in a tragic collision between a truck and a private car on Sunday morning in the Unish Mile area of Osmaninagar upazila, Sylhet.
Two victims died on the spot, while three others succumbed to their injuries at the hospital, confrimed Additional Superintendent of Police (Osmaninagar-Bishwanath Circle) Ashrafuzzaman.
The deceased have been identified as Sohel (40), Shamima (40), Ety Begum (35), and Ayan (7). The identity of the fifth victim remains unknown.
