The government has called for feedback and opinions from stakeholders, including political parties involved in recent uprisings, following a meeting with all political parties regarding the July Proclamation.
In a statement, the government requested stakeholders, including political parties involved in the uprisings, to submit their feedback in writing. The submissions are to be addressed to Mahfuz Alam, Adviser to the Chief Adviser’s Office, by 23 January.
The statement further mentioned that an amended and universally accepted version of the proclamation will be drafted based on the received opinions.
“The finalised July Proclamation will soon be made public,” the statement added.
