The interim government is set to replace the Cyber Security Act with a proposed Cyber Protection Act, Law Adviser Asif Nazrul said.
During a press briefing on Tuesday (19 November) detailing the law ministry's achievements within the first 100 days of his tenure, Nazrul stated that the government was also working on drafting regulations for the appointment of Supreme Court judges.
Additionally, Nazrul informed that the amended International Crimes Tribunal Act is ready for submission to the cabinet.
He expressed optimism that the cabinet would adopt the amended legislation within the next couple of days.
