The BNP will conduct a rally in the capital today, commencing at 2:30pm from the party's central office in Naya Paltan to observe 'National Revolution and Solidarity Day'

to commemorate 'National Revolution and Solidarity Day', the BNP will hold a rally in the capital on Friday (8 November), commencing at 2:30pm in front of the party’s central office in Naya Paltan.

The rally will proceed through Kakrail Mor, Matsya Bhaban, Shahbagh, Banglamotor, Karwan Bazar, and Farmgate, before culminating at Manik Mia Avenue.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will inaugurate the rally in front of the Naya Paltan office, while the party’s acting chairman, Tarique Rahman, will deliver the concluding speech at Manik Mia Avenue.

In a press release issued on Thursday (7 November), the party further detailed that the procession would move from the central office in Naya Paltan through Kakrail, Matsya Bhaban, the Institute of Engineers, Shahbagh, Hotel InterContinental, Banglamotor, Karwan Bazar, and Farmgate, ultimately ending at Manik Mia Avenue.

BNP Standing Committee member A Z M Zahid Hossain stated that the rally would not solely comprise BNP leaders and activists; individuals from all walks of life, including participants from nearby districts of Dhaka, would also join.

BNP has been observing 7 November as 'National Revolution and Solidarity Day' for years.
