BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has appealed to the government to refrain from making any hasty decisions regarding the removal of the president, stressing the necessity of adhering to constitutional procedures.

Speaking on Sunday (27 October) at around 11:30am, following a wreath-laying ceremony at the Ziaur Rahman’s mausoleum in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka, on the occasion of Jubo Dal’s 46th anniversary, Mirza Fakhrul expressed concern over any abrupt decisions that could undermine the political stability and constitutional framework of the nation.

He remarked, "Decisions on the removal of the President must not be taken in haste. Every step should follow the constitutional guidelines."
