BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said that an unelected government cannot run the country for a long time.
He made the comments while attending a programme at the National Press Club in the capital on Saturday (28 December).
Mirza Fakhrul said, “Reforms are an ongoing process, but elections cannot be stopped just because of reforms. An unelected government cannot run the country for a long time.”
