The Mirpur-10 metro station is set to reopen tomorrow (15 October) after being closed for nearly three months.

Mohammad Abdur Rouf, Managing Director of Dhaka Mass Transit Company Ltd announced the update during a press briefing on Monday.

The station, along with Kazipara metro station, was closed on 19 July after unidentified individuals vandalised both stations during the student-led quota reform movement, prompting the suspension of metro rail services for over a month.

While metro operations resumed on 25 August, both stations remained closed to the public. Kazipara station was eventually reopened on 20 September.

Previously, then Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader had said that reopening the damaged stations might not be possible for at least a year.
