Dabirul Islam, former Member of Parliament of Thakurgaon-2 Constituency has been arrested in the early hours of Thursday (3 Ocober).
He was arrested from the house of Ruhia Thana unit Awami League leader Alamgir Hossain at Thakurgaon Sadar Upazila at 2:30 am.
Thakurgaon Superintendent of Police Sheikh Zahidul Islam confirmed the arrest to the media.
He told the media that Dabirul was prime arrested in a case of Baliadangi police station.
