Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) Wednesday night arrested former lawmaker of Rajshahi-4 constituency Abul Kalam Azad from city’s Mirpur on charge of attacking protestors during the anti-discrimination movement.
Abul Kalam Azad was arrested from the city's Mirpur area at 8pm, said RAB legal and media wing director Lt Col Munim Ferdous.
He was wanted in a number of cases filed in connection with July-August mass uprising.
