Student organisations will jointly observe "National Unity Week" in a bid to strengthen unity and tackle the ongoing unrest at theall  educational institutions across the country.

Hasnat Abdullah, a key coordinator of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, made the announcement at a meeting attended by representatives of various student organisations.

An urgent meeting was held on Monday (25 November) evening to address the recent incidents of clashes in the country's educational institutions.

BNP's student wing Jatiyatabadi Chatra Dal, Islami Chhatra Shibir, and Chhatra Odhikar, among 18 student organisations, joined the meet.

In the meeting, it was decided that the student bodies will carry out the programme under their own banners.
