The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) Shariah Index (CSI) has undergone its latest review and revision, based on the performance of CSE-listed companies.
The updated index will be implemented from 25 November 2024. The CSE Shariah Index is typically reviewed biannually, said a press release.
The latest revision has not seen the addition of any new companies to the index.
However, three companies—Heidelberg Cement Bangladesh Ltd., Regent Textile Mills Limited, and Ratanpur Steel Re-Rolling Mills Limited—have been excluded from the list.
In the revised index, a total of 123 listed companies out of 384 have been selected.
