The 21st BCS All Cadre Forum organised an iftar and prayer gathering in observance of the holy month of Ramadan at the Officers’ Club on Bailey Road in Dhaka.
Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahman, president of the forum and joint secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs, and Mohammad Taherul Haque Chowhan, general secretary of the forum and additional DIG of Gazipur Metropolitan Police, were present alongside officials from various BCS cadres.
Guests of honour included Dr. Nazmul Karim Khan, DIG of Bangladesh Police and Police Commissioner of Gazipur Metropolitan Police; Ali Hossain Fakir, DIG of APBN; and Colonel Md. Faisal Ahammed Bhuiyan, psc, deputy director general (Administration), Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party Headquarters.
During the iftar and prayer session, participants prayed for the peace, development, and prosperity of the country, as well as for those injured and martyred in the July-August mass movement. Special prayers were also offered for the oppressed women, children, elderly, and martyrs in Gaza, seeking relief for the living and eternal peace for the departed.
The 21st BCS All Cadre Forum reiterated its commitment to strengthening professional camaraderie and continuing to serve the nation and its people.
