Five people were killed and at least six others injured in a head-on collision between two buses in Lohagara, Chattogram.
The accident occurred at 7:30am on Monday (31 March) in the Chunati area of the Chattogram-Cox’s Bazar highway when a coach operated by Saudia Paribahan collided with a minibus.
Five people died at the scene, while the injured were taken to hospital for treatment.
According to Lohagara Fire Service, a rescue unit was dispatched immediately after the crash near Jangalya Mazar Gate and carried out the emergency response.
