The government has issued a notification appointing 267 individuals to the administration cadre of the 43rd BCS as assistant commissioners. They have been posted to various divisions.
The notification was published on the website of the Ministry of Public Administration on Friday, 10 January.
According to the notification, signed by Deputy Secretary Md. Shahidul Islam, based on the results of the 43rd BCS examination and the recommendation of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission in its letter dated 25 January, the Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification on 30 December 2024, appointing 267 individuals to the BCS (Administration) cadre as assistant commissioners.
These newly appointed assistant commissioners have been been assigned under the divisional commissioner of the department mentioned next to their names for posting to appropriate posts as trainee assistant commissioners.
Furthermore, the notification instructs these officers to report to the respective division commissioners by 15th January and grants them the powers of executive magistrates.
