The government has announced a new fee structure for goverment job recruitment exams, excluding the BCS, setting the highest application fee at Tk200 and the lowest at Tk50.
The Ministry of Finance issued a notification on Monday (30 December), confirming the revised fees for government job exams, including those organised by the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC).
The revised fees include Tk200 for 9th grade and higher positions, Tk150 for 11th and 12th grade roles, and Tk100 for 13th to 16th grade positions.
The updated fee structure also applies to non-cadre positions and jobs in government, semi-government, autonomous, and other public sector entities.
In addition, a fee of Tk50 has been introduced for underprivileged citizens across all grades. The new notification also cancels a previous circular issued in August 2023 that outlined the previous fee structure.
