Field administration constitutes the essence of governance, Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus said as he engaged virtually with field-level officials in a directive meeting held from the Chief Adviser’s Office on Monday (30 December).
He stressed that the interim government is committed to safeguarding the rights of all citizens and is working diligently towards that end.
Addressing the officials, Yunus underscored the importance of completing various field-level projects within their designated timelines. He called upon all concerned stakeholders to remain focused and proactive in their responsibilities.
To ensure the success of the interim government’s objectives and activities, the chief adviser instructed the field administration to adopt an active and dynamic role.
During the meeting, Yunus highlighted the necessity of holding police personnel accountable for any involvement in criminal activities.
He assured that those found guilty would face appropriate punitive measures.
In addition, the chief adviser issued directives for the systematic and timely distribution of textbooks to students at the start of the new academic year, underscoring the importance of maintaining order in this process.
