Emirates has launched Emirates Courier Express, an express delivery service designed to streamline global logistics by reducing transit times and enhancing reliability.

To ensure efficiency, Emirates collaborated with international clients to refine the service before its market debut. Over the past year, Emirates Courier Express has transported thousands of packages across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, South Africa and the UK, with an average delivery time of under 48 hours, reports Khaleej Times.

The service is now fully operational for businesses.

Badr Abbas, Divisional Senior Vice President at Emirates SkyCargo, described the initiative as “an evolution in moving goods across the globe at speed and scale.”

He emphasised that the service not only upholds Emirates' reputation for reliability but also establishes a new benchmark for express deliveries.

Unlike conventional cross-border shipping models, which rely on multiple transit points, Emirates Courier Express offers a direct origin-to-destination approach, mirroring the airline’s passenger network.

This strategy minimises transit time and handling, giving businesses a competitive advantage. Customers can choose between next-day urgent delivery and a two-day premium service, with further innovations in development.

At launch, Emirates Courier Express will serve seven markets, with plans for expansion in line with the airline’s global network.

Leveraging Emirates’ fleet of over 250 widebody passenger and freighter aircraft, the service integrates with a trusted network of partners to manage customs clearance and last-mile delivery, ensuring seamless door-to-door logistics.

The service caters to a broad range of industries, from fashion and consumer electronics to critical medical shipments.

Emirates’ specialised logistics infrastructure, including temperature-controlled transport, enables the secure handling of sensitive cargo.

Designed for digital efficiency, Emirates Courier Express integrates directly into customer software, offering real-time tracking and bespoke shipping solutions.

Dennis Lister, Senior Vice President of Product and Innovation at Emirates SkyCargo, stated that the service challenges traditional logistics norms to deliver a faster and more cost-effective solution.

With this launch, Emirates is set to redefine global express delivery, offering businesses a new level of speed, reliability, and flexibility.
