A significant meeting between Bangladesh's Foreign Adviser Mohammed Touhid Hossain and China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi took place on Tuesday (21 January) at 9am local time in Beijing.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that the discussion centred on strengthening bilateral relations, with both parties presenting their positions on various issues, including economic and trade matters.
The talks emphasised cooperation in health and water resource management, particularly in the context of debt relief.
The foreign adviser departed Dhaka on Monday for his first bilateral visit to China and is expected to return home on Friday, concluding the three-day trip.
