Some 66 new deputy attorney generals (DAG) and 161 assistant attorney generals (AAG) were appointed to represent the state in cases before the Appellate and High Court Divisions of the Supreme Court.
On Wednesday (28 August), the solicitor wing of the Ministry of Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs issued a gazette notification to this end.
Their appointment would come into effect immediately, it said.
