The newly appointed Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin has committed to delivering transparent, impartial, and credible elections for the nation.
Speaking to journalists on Sunday (24 November) following his oath-taking ceremony held earlier in the afternoon, the CEC articulated his pledge.
"We are resolute in our commitment to conducting free and fair elections with the cooperation of all stakeholders," said CEC Nasir Uddin.
He emphasised that the Election Commission is dedicated to working towards fulfilling the aspirations of political parties while ensuring the electoral process remains just and unbiased.
