Syeda Rizwana Hasan is a renowned lawyer and environmental activist in Bangladesh.
Her ancestral home is in Habiganj. She obtained her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the Faculty of Law at the University of Dhaka.
In July 1993, upon completing her education, she joined the Bangladesh Environmental Lawyers Association (BELA).
Over the years, her work in environmental advocacy has earned her numerous accolades, including the Bangladesh Government's Environmental Award, the Ramon Magsaysay Award, and the Goldman Environmental Prize, among others.
