Law enforcing agencies have arrested Awami League presidium member Kazi Zafarullah from Gulshan area in the capital on Wednesday (18 September) night.
He was taken to the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases in the city as he was feeling unwell.
It is not known yet in which case the AL leader has been arrested.
In the 2001 national parliament election, Kazi Zafarullah was elected as a member of parliament of Awami League from Faridpur-5 constituency.
