Nahid Islam, one of the coordinators of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, in a video message declared that Nobel laureate Dr Muhammad Yunus will be the chief adviser of their proposed interim government.
He announced the statement in a video message sent from the Facebook ID of another Coordinator Asif Mahmud around 4:30 pm on Tuesday (6 August).
Nahid also said that Dr Yunus has agreed to the proposal. Two more coordinators were present with him.
The full list of proposed interim government members will be disclosed on Tuesday morning, he said.
