A shipment of 26,250 metric tonnes of rice from Pakistan arrived at Chittagong Port on Saturday.
The Pakistani vessel MV MARIAM carrying the consignment under a Government-to-Government (G2G) agreement anchored at the port in the morning, according to a media release from the Food Ministry.
Unloading began following a sample test of the rice.
