The interim government has expressed grave concern over the recent attempts by certain individuals and groups to carry out acts of vandalism and arson targeting various institutions and establishments across the country.

"The government unwaveringly commitment to thwart such activities with resolute measures," said an official statement by the Cheif Adviser's Press Wing on Friday (7 February).

Emphasising the paramount importance of public safety, the interim government assured citizens that it remains fully prepared to protect lives and property.

It further warned that any attempt to destabilise the nation through provocative actions will be met with immediate and stringent responses from law enforcement agencies.

Those found responsible will face prompt legal proceedings to ensure accountability and justice, it added.
