BNP has submitted a detailed proposal aimed at reforming public administration, outlining a series of recommendations to restructure the administrative framework.

On Sunday (15 December), a delegation led by BNP Public Administration Reform Committee member and BNP Chairperson’s Advisory Council member, Ismail Zabihullah, presented the proposal to Ministry of Public Administration Secretary Mokhles Ur Rahman.

Speaking to journalists, Ismail Zabihullah emphasised the need for a comprehensive administrative overhaul.

“The administration must be restructured. A complete reshuffle across all levels of the administration should be implemented three months before every election,” he stated.

He also noted that the proposal included recommendations for creating a "DC Fit List."

The BNP leader highlighted the need to address long-standing issues within the administrative framework.

Employees who have remained in the same position or location for extended periods, potentially forming syndicates, should be transferred, he said.

Furthermore, the proposal advised identifying and taking action against officials who had benefited under previous governments and are now strategically positioned to influence the administration.
