Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairperson Khaleda Zia is set to attend a rally organised by the Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Muktijoddha Dal at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre on 21 December, said Sayrul Kabir Khan, a member of the BNP Media Cell on Saturday (14 December).
If Khaleda Zia makes her appearance at the rally, it will mark her first public engagement at a political event in over seven years.
Her last such appearance was on 12 November 2017, when she attended the National Revolution and Solidarity Day programme as the chief guest at Suhrawardy Udyan in Dhaka.
