Featuring a team of seasoned professionals, the team came following a formal request for assistance from the interim government, said a press release.

The EMT comprises an orthopaedic surgeon, a physiotherapist and rehabilitation expert, and a clinical coordinator.

They will provide their expertise at the National Institute of Traumatology & Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (NITOR) from 5 to 18 November.

With extensive experience in treating patients in conflict-affected areas around the globe, these clinical experts are uniquely equipped to address the complex injuries sustained by the students.

Their presence aims to enhance recovery outcomes for those impacted by the recent unrest, offering focused rehabilitation and trauma care services to expedite the students’ return to health and mobility.
