Mishu Biswas, a trailblazer in endurance sports and an inspirational figure for Bangladesh’s youth, has revolutionised the country’s triathlon scene with his outstanding achievements and visionary approach.
In 2023, Mishu made history by representing Bangladesh at the Ironman World Championship in France, securing an impressive fourth place among South Asian triathletes. His consistency has been evident in Ironman Malaysia, where he finished 11th in 2022 and ninth in 2023.
Further cementing his status as a leading triathlete, he was awarded the AWA Silver medal in 2024 and ranked as the second-best Bangladeshi triathlete by IRONMAN AWA for the 2023 season.

Beyond triathlon, Mishu has demonstrated excellence in other endurance sports. He claimed a bronze medal at the Marine Drive Ultra Marathon in 2020 and won gold and silver medals at national cycling and swimming championships as a representative of Bangladesh Police.
His remarkable contributions to the country’s sporting achievements were nationally recognised with the prestigious President’s Medal in 2023.
Mishu’s growing reputation has attracted collaborations with some of Bangladesh’s leading brands, including Popular Life Insurance, Navana Group, Southeast Bank, Fortune Group, BSRM, and Nagad. Looking ahead, he aims to expand his brand partnerships internationally, targeting sportswear companies, cycling brands, and nutrition firms to further solidify his influence.
As a race ambassador and judge at several high-profile endurance events, including the National Long Distance and Short Distance Swim Competitions, Bangla Channel Swimming Competition, and Joy Bangla Marathon, Mishu plays a key role in fostering the growth of endurance sports in Bangladesh.

Looking to the future, Mishu aspires to qualify for all Six World Major Marathons and has already secured a place in the Chicago Marathon 2025. He also plans to compete in Ironman Florida and Ironman 70.3 New York, with the goal of attaining the coveted Ironman AWA Gold award.
Additionally, he is committed to developing his coaching career, training elite athletes, and obtaining further certifications to strengthen his expertise.
