Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) commenced a series of nationwide rallies on Wednesday (12 February), aiming to address surging prices of essential commodities, improve the law and order situation, announce a swift electoral roadmap, and counter what it terms as conspiracies of the fallen fascist regime.

Rallies are scheduled to take place on Wednesday in Khulna, Lalmonirhat, Sirajganj, Brahmanbaria, Sunamganj, and Patuakhali.

Over the next ten days, the party plans to organise similar gatherings across all 64 districts, advocating for various public demands.

Senior BNP leaders, including Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and other central figures, will actively participate in these assemblies.

According to the BNP, these programmes will continue seamlessly at both district and metropolitan levels until the onset of Ramadan.

Organisational coordinators, under the supervision of central leaders, will oversee the implementation of these initiatives at the grassroots level.

Prominent BNP leaders will be present at key events on Wednesday: Standing Committee Member Gayeshwar Chandra Roy in Lalmonirhat, Nazrul Islam Khan in Sirajganj, and Major (Retd.) Hafiz Uddin Ahmed in Khulna. Vice Chairman Barkat Ullah Bulu will attend the Brahmanbaria rally, while Advisory Council members Syed Moazzem Hossain Alal and Ariful Haque Chowdhury will be present in Patuakhali and Sunamganj, respectively.

On 16 February, Standing Committee Member Salahuddin Ahmed will address a rally in Feni.

Additionally, on 23 February, the BNP-affiliated Bangladesh Nationalist Farmers' Party will host a grand farmers' assembly in Shibalaya, Manikganj, with BNP’s acting chairman Tarique Rahman scheduled to join virtually as the chief guest.
