Chief Adviser Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus visited three spots in Dhaka that were previously used as "Aynaghar" - the nickname given to the secret detention centres built by the ousted Hasina regime.

Members of the advisory council, members of the Commission of Inquiry on Enforced Disappearances, victims, and local and international media accompanied the chief adviser during the visit to the spots located in Dhaka's Agargaon, Kachukhet and Uttara areas at around 11am Wednesday (12 February), said CA's Press Wing.
He stated that further details regarding the visit would be disclosed during a press conference scheduled for 2:30pm at the Foreign Service Academy.
The decision for the chief adviser’s visit to Aynaghar was made during a meeting of the Advisory Council held on Thursday (6 February).
