Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has dissolved the convening committee of its Dhaka North city unit, which was formed just two and a half months ago.
In this regard, a press release, signed by Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Saturday night, made the disclosure without mentioning any details.
A new committee for the unit will be announced soon, it added.
BNP formed the convening committees for its Dhaka South, North, Chattogram, and Barisal city units On July 7.
Saiful Alam Nirob was made convener of the Dhaka North city unit while Aminul Haque the member secretary.
