The metro rail services from Uttara North to Motijheel resumed after being halted for more than one hour due to a technical glitch with the signal system.
Trains were seen running in both directions since around 4:00pm.
The service was brought to a halt at 2:40 PM, causing passengers to face a crisis.
The metro service was halted due to a technical glitch with the signal system, said Nazmul Islam Bhuiyan, deputy project director (public relations) of MRT Line-6.
