The government has issued a notice urging all foreign nationals residing or working in Bangladesh without proper documentation to regularise their status by 31 January 2025.

The home ministry issued a notice in this regard 26 January.

The statement said, “Foreign nationals staying or working illegally must acquire the necessary permits and documents to continue their activities in the country. Concerned departments and institutions have been requested to provide full cooperation in facilitating this process.”
