No examinees from 51 institutions passed the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent exams published today (12 May).

Conversely, 2,968 schools achieved a perfect 100% pass rate across all 11 education boards.

Education Minister Mohibul Hassan Chowdhury announced the results during a press briefing today.

Earlier today at 10 am, Mohibul Hassan Chowdhury, along with the chairmen of all the education boards, presented Prime Minister Hasina with a summary and statistics of the results at Ganabhaban.

According to the Ministry of Education, the overall pass rate stands at 83.04 percent, marking a 2.65 percentage point increase from last year's 80.39 percent.

The pass rate for male students is 81.57% while the pass rate for female students is 84.47%.

Jashore Education Board has secured a 92.32% pass rate, the highest among the nine boards.

Sylhet, on the other hand, is at the bottom with a 73.35% pass rate.

This year, 2,024,192 students registered for the exams under 11 education boards.

Of them, 1,606,879 students took the exams under the nine general education boards, 242,314 sat for Dakhil exams under the Madrasa Education Board, and another 126,373 under the Vocational or Dakhil (Vocational) exams under the Technical Education Board.
