Rise in temperature predicted across Bangladesh: BMD

The weather is likely to remain dry, with a partly cloudy sky prevailing over different regions

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted a slight increase in temperature across the country over the next 24 hours, starting from 9 AM on Wednesday.

According to the latest bulletin issued by the Met Office, both day and night temperatures are expected to rise slightly during this period.

The weather is likely to remain dry, with a partly cloudy sky prevailing over different regions.

The bulletin further mentioned that a trough of low pressure lies over West Bengal and adjoining areas, while a seasonal low persists over the South Bay.

On Tuesday, Rangamati recorded the highest temperature in the country at 35.5 degrees Celsius.
