Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has issued a forecast predicting the possibility of rain and thunderstorms across the country next week.
According to the update provided on Sunday (16 February) from 9am onwards, the weather is expected to bring sporadic showers and thunder in various regions.
The department also stated that the temperature during the day and night on Monday (17 February), could rise by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius, with the Rajshahi division potentially experiencing light rain.
Elsewhere, the weather is expected to remain predominantly dry, though with occasional cloudy spells.
In addition, a light to moderate fog is expected to form nationwide from late night until dawn, adding to the atmospheric changes.
The department urged the public to stay prepared for the changing weather conditions.
