Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has indicated that Dhaka and its neighbouring areas may experience a rise in daytime temperatures, with the sky remaining partly cloudy for a temporary period.
In its six-hour forecast issued from 7am on Wednesday (29 January), the department predicted a dry spell with an increase in daytime temperatures.
The sky is expected to remain partly cloudy, but no significant weather disturbances are anticipated.
As of 6am on Wednesday, Dhaka recorded a temperature of 15.2 degrees Celsius, while humidity levels stood at 89%.
The forecast further stated that winds from the west or north-west may sweep across the city at speeds ranging between 5 and 10 kilometres per hour.
