A Dhaka court has imposed travel ban on former state minister for foreign affairs Md Shahriar Alam, his wife and two sons over graft allegations.
Acting Judge of Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Court Md Ibrahim Miah passed the order on Monday.
Investigation Officer (IO) and ACC Deputy Director Md Salauddin filed the plea.
Public Prosecutor Mir Ahmed Ali Salam moved the petition before the court.
Md Shahriar Alam, his wife Silvia Pervin and two sons Sadman Shahriar and Ahnaf Shahriar are accused amassing illegal wealth of crores through corruption and misusing power.
The ACC learned the accused are trying to leave the country to dodge justice and filed the plea to impose travel ban on them.
