Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus is set to visit "Aynaghar" (House of Mirror), a reported secret detention and torture cell within an elite force, as soon as possible.
Both local and foreign media representatives are expected to accompany the Chief Adviser during his visit.
The decision was made during a meeting of the Advisers’ Council on Thursday (6 February), said CA’s press wing.
In addition to discussing the visit, the council addressed several pressing issues, including measures to facilitate the transportation of goods via the Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB), the import of essential commodities, and ensuring a steady supply to stabilise market prices.
The council also deliberated on steps to ensure an uninterrupted electricity supply across the country.
