Three members of the same family were shot dead inside their home in Ukhiya’s Rohingya camp.
The shooting occurred on Monday morning (21 October) at Camp 17, according to local police authorities.
Ukhiya Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Arif Hossain stated, “A murder has taken place at Camp 17 in Ukhiya’s Rohingya settlement. Three individuals from the same family have been killed as a result of the attack.”
The identities of the victims were not immediately available at the time of the report.
Investigations are ongoing as authorities seek further details on the case.
