Huawei has launched roadshows for the 12th edition of its flagship competition, Seeds For The Future Bangladesh, aimed at enhancing the country's ICT ecosystem by boosting students’ ICT skills and knowledge.
In a press release on Tuesday, Huawei announced that the roadshows have already taken place at several prominent institutions, including East West University, RUET, AUST, and BRAC University, engaging over 1,000 students. During these sessions, participants were briefed on the competition’s objectives, the program roadmap, preparatory tips, and the opportunities available through the initiative.
The roadshow circuit is set to continue until March, with the official inauguration of the program scheduled for April when registration will open. Notably, the winners from Bangladesh will advance to compete in the regional round in China.
Seeds For The Future is a global, knowledge and skill-based competition for university students. Since its introduction in Bangladesh in 2014, the program has garnered strong recognition among academics and students alike for nurturing future ICT leaders. Globally, more than 15,000 students have participated, with winners advancing to regional and international rounds every year.
