Renowned Bangladeshi fiction writer, playwright, and director Palash Mahbub has reached a significant milestone in his literary career, marking 25 years since the publication of his first book.
Since his debut in 2000, he has authored 66 books across various genres, including short stories, novels, children’s literature, rhymes, and humorous essays, said a press release.
To commemorate his silver jubilee in publishing, three new books by Mahbub have been released this year.
Among them, Pomar Bochon 2, the sequel to last year’s widely acclaimed Pomar Bochon, has garnered particular attention.
Additionally, he has introduced Premanukabya, a collection of intimate verses on love and romance.
For years, Mahbub has captivated young readers with his adventure series Logic Labu.
This year, the seventh installment, Tero Number Tulkalam (The Chaos at Number Thirteen), has been published.
All three books have been released by the esteemed Panjeri Publications.
Reflecting on his journey, Mahbub remarked, “I never imagined my books would continue to be published for 25 consecutive years. It is undoubtedly an incredible feeling. Writing has now become a habit, and I will strive to keep it going.”
